1. 3D property rights : an analysis of key factors based on international experience
Abstract : The objectives of this thesis are to establish the fundamental principles in the field of 3D property rights by studying such systems in different countries with a particular focus on management questions, to systemize the acquired knowledge and demonstrate different ways of dealing with key factors essential to a well-functioning 3D property rights system. A theoretical background to the 3D property concept is given by presenting proposals as to a definition of 3D property and a classification of the primary forms of 3D property rights examined into specific types and categories, as well as an overview of international 3D property use. 2. Standardization of Real Property Rights and Public Regulations : The Legal Cadastral Domain Model
Abstract : The objective of this thesis is to develop a conceptual model for classification of real property rights and public regulations. The model is called the Legal Cadastral Domain Model. The model is intended to be a terminological framework for cross-border exchange of cadastral information. READ MORE

3. Integration of BIM and 3D GIS for sustainable cadastre
Abstract : Building Information Modelling (BIM) has prominently innovated and digitalized buildingenvironment through digital representation of buildings, lifecycle process and managementfor involved actors. Rapidly developed from Geographical Information System (GIS) domain,three-dimensionally (3D) GIS provides powerful and comprehensive functions of planning, modelling, visualizing and analyzing 3D geodata in large scale. 4. Computational studies on 2D and 3D amorphous solids : Investigation of structure-property relationship
Abstract : Amorphous materials represent a large and diverse family, with many questions still remaining unanswered regarding their structure-property relationship. The structural complexity of these materials poses challenges for simulations in contrast to crystalline materials where density functional theory (DFT) can be used easily by exploiting the translation symmetry. 5. Correlating Nanostructure and Electronic Properties of Organic Semiconductors by Electron Microscopy
Abstract : Organic semiconductors enable fabrication and efficient processing of electronic devices with light weight, mechanical flexibility and tuneable properties. Despite significant progress in the last decades, efficiencies and long-term stabilities of these systems still need to be improved. READ MORE
