1. Leaching of water-granulated iron silicate slags and their compounds : A study of synthetic and industrial slag systems
Abstract : Copper smelter slag is a residue product of the pyrometallurgical extraction of copper. Due to its physical properties, the iron silicate type of copper smelter slag has many possible application areas, e.g., different aggregates and abrasives. READ MORE

3. Garbage collecting reactive real-time systems
Abstract : As real-time systems become more complex, the need for more sophisticated runtime kernel features arises. One such feature that substantially lessens the burden of the programmer is automatic memory management, or garbage collection. However, incorporating garbage collection in a real-time kernel is not an easy task. READ MORE

4. Garbage collection for reactive real-time systems
Abstract : Predictable use of resources, such as processor time and memory, is a desirable property for virtually any computer system. In real-time computing, static predictability is of particular concern. READ MORE

5. Methodological aspects of quantitative cardiac molecular imaging
Abstract : The objective of this research was to facilitate the use of quantitative cardiac molecular imaging by developing and validating methods and applications. More specifically:we determined the optimal tracer kinetic model for analysis of 11C-PIB and evaluated the performance of two simpler measures, retention index (RI) and standardized uptake value (SUV), in the quantification of cardiac 11C-PIB uptake in amyloidosis.
