1. On the Logic of Theory Change : Extending the AGM Model
Abstract : This thesis consists in six articles and a comprehensive summary. • The pourpose of the summary is to introduce the AGM theory of belief change and to exemplify the diversity and significance of the research that has been inspired by the AGM article in the last 25 years. READ MORE

2. On Non-Prioritized Multiple Belief Revision
Abstract : This thesis investigates a sort of non-prioritized multiple revision, the operation of making up one's mind, and its generalization, the operation of choice revision. Making up one's mind about a sentence is a belief change that takes the agent to a belief state in which either the sentence or its negation is believed. READ MORE

3. Coherence : Studies in epistemology and belief revision
Abstract : This thesis consists of seven papers and a comprehensive summary. The subject matter is so-calledcoherence theories of justification, according to which epistemic justification, and ultimately knowledge,is essentially a matter of relations between beliefs, of how well they hang together. 4. Magnetic Thin Films with Graded and Tilted Anisotropy for Spintronic Devices
Abstract : In this thesis magnetic thin films with graded or tilted anisotropy are intensively studied for potential applications in spintronic devices. A continuum of stable remanent resistance states is realized in Co/Pd multilayers based on a perpendicularly magnetized pseudo spin valve (PSV). READ MORE

5. Titled and graded anisotropy FePt and FePtCu thin films for the application of hard disk drive and spin torque oscillators
Abstract : The FePt and FePtCu thin films with graded anisotropy and titled anisotropy are utilized to solve both the magnetic recording ‘‘trilemma’’ of the hard disk drives (HDDs) and the large field operation problem of spin torque oscillators (STOs). We have successfully realized the FePtCu thin films with graded anisotropy. READ MORE
