1. Influence of fluid shear on primary nucleation of low molecular organic compounds in solution
Abstract : In this project, two experimental systems have been set up to study the influence of fluid shear on primary nucleation. In the first set of experiments, in total about 3000 nucleation experiments have been done with butyl paraben/ethanol solutions, curcumin/ethanol solutions and m-hydroxybenzoic acid/1-propanol solutions in capped vials agitated with magnetic stir bars. 2. Influence of Fluid Shear on Primary Nucleation of Organic Compounds in Solution Jin Liu Doctoral Thesis
Abstract : In this work, three experimental systems have been used to study the influence of agitation/ fluid shear on primary nucleation. Three organic compounds have been used with different solvents, i.e. butyl paraben in ethanol solution, curcumin in ethanol solution and m-hydroxybenzoic acid in 1-propanol solution. READ MORE

4. Flow and Rheology of Pulp Suspensions at Medium Consistency
Abstract : Traditionally, development of pulp processing equipment has been based on the accumulation of qualitative knowledge (experience) with respect to the interaction of equipment and pulp suspensions. This way of developing equipment requires several trials and prototypes before the final product and process data can be established. READ MORE
