1. Mast cells in Hodgkin lymphoma : or 'What's a nice cell like you doing in a tumour like this?'
Abstract : Mast cell (MC) accumulation around tumours is an old observation gaining new relevance due to the multifaceted nature of MCs and their many roles in immunity, beyond allergy. Knowledge about tumour specific recruitment of, and interactions with, MCs is needed to unravel the function of their presence. READ MORE

2. The role of CD30 in atopic allergy
Abstract : The 120 kDa CD30 molecule belongs to the tumour necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily and is expressed by activated lymphoid cells. Small populations of CD30+ cells have been detected in the peripheral lymphoid organs, as well as in the thymus. A subset of CD45RO+, so-called memory T cells, also express CD30 after various kind of stimuli. READ MORE

3. Kinetic Studies of NO Oxidation and Reduction over Silver-Alumina Catalyst
Abstract : In line with growing concerns to manufacture more environmentally friendly vehicles, the use of internal combustion engines operating with oxygen excess or so called lean-burn engines will continue to be increasingly used. For lean-burn operation, reduction of NOx (NO+NO2) emissions is a major challenge and it is therefore urgently required to develop efficient and reliable NOx reduction aftertreatment systems for a wide variety of lean-burn or diesel engines. 4. Bystander Cells and Prognosis in Hodgkin Lymphoma
Abstract : Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is characterised histologically by a minority of malignant Hodgkin and Reed-Sternberg (HRS) cells surrounded by benign cells, and clinically by a relatively good prognosis. The treatment, however, leads to a risk of serious side effects. READ MORE

5. Mast cells in chronic inflammatory diseases : new insights in mast cell function and phenotype
Abstract : Mast cells are multifunctional cells that play important roles in health and disease. They are long lived cells with the capacity to be activated several times. Upon activation mast cells release a huge array of mediators. The nature of the mediators released is dependent on the stimuli. READ MORE
