21. The influence of ageing on the salt-frost resistance of concrete
Abstract : Abstract This thesis presents the results of an investigation of the influence of ageing on the salt-frost resistance of concrete. The ageing mechanisms investigated were hydration, drying and carbonation. READ MORE

22. Structural assessment procedures for existing concrete bridges : Experiences from failure tests of the Kiruna Bridge
Abstract : Assessing existing bridges is an important task in the sustainable management ofinfrastructure. In practice, structural bridge assessments are usually conducted usingtraditional and standardised methods, despite knowledge that these methods oftenprovide conservative estimates. READ MORE

23. Applied Modeling of Moisture Phenomena in Concrete
Abstract : This thesis contains new and improved calculation models, based on applied research merging numerical modeling and material research, in the areas of hydration and chemical binding of water, sorption of moisture and transport of moisture in concrete. The proposed model for hydration and chemical binding of water is based on general kinetics modeling and calculates degree of hydration directly, without using of equivalent time of maturity. 24. High-performance and self-compacting concrete in house building. Field tests and theoretical studies of possibilities and difficulties
Abstract : Cast in-situ concrete is the most frequently used materials technology worldwide within production of structural frames in multi-storey residential buildings. In Sweden, this technology dominates the market but is challenged by other competitive production methods. READ MORE

25. Moisture Conditions in High Performance Concrete. Mathematical Modelling and Measurements
Abstract : The work presented in this thesis has been focused on developing a model to calculate the moisture conditions in concrete of low water/binder ratio (W/B) which is normally used in high performance concrete. To do this, the moisture conditions in high performance concrete have been studied, from a very early age. READ MORE
