1. Leukaemic relapse after allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation and the use of the graft-versus-leukaemia effect
Abstract : Survival after allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) has improved over the last decades due to improvements in immunosuppressive regimens and supportive care. Today the major risk of treatment failure is recurrent leukaemia, a risk which has stayed relatively constant over the years. READ MORE

2. Umbilical cord blood transplantation : clinical outcome, chimerism development, and in vitro expansion of T-cells for clinical use
Abstract : Umbilical cord blood (UCB) is an alternative graft source in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The unique advantages with UCB as a stem cell source are found in the permissibility for human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-mismatch, rapid availability, and comparatively risk-free graft collection. Abstract : Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is a potent immunotherapeutic procedure but its usability is limited by a high risk of serious complications. A prerequisite for timely initiation of preventive measures is the availability of predictive methods. READ MORE
