1. Ink-jet printing of thin film transistors based on carbon nanotubes
Abstract : The outstanding electrical and mechanical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) may offer solutions to realizing high-mobility and high-bendability thin-film transistors (TFTs) for the emerging flexible electronics. This thesis aims to develop low-cost ink-jet printing techniques for high-performance TFTs based on pristine SWCNTs. READ MORE

2. On electronics for measurement systems
Abstract : This thesis collects the work performed by the author on electronics for measurement systems. The first part is the work performed on the EISCAT 3D ionospheric research radar, including two papers on the investigations on required performance, electronics design, and proof of concept signal processing. 3. Dynamic Effects on Electron Transport in Molecular Electronic Devices
Abstract : HTML clipboardIn this thesis, dynamic effects on electron transport in molecular electronic devices are presented. Special attention is paid to the dynamics of atomic motions of bridged molecules, thermal motions of surrounding solvents, and many-body electron correlations in molecular junctions. READ MORE

4. Molecular Electronics - Modeling, Devices and Architecture
Abstract : Molecular electronics is an area of micro/nanoelectronics with a number of farreaching goals and challenges: denser implementation of electronic memory and logic, less expensive manufacturing, smaller or more sensitive measurement devices, selfassembly of devices and systems and, last but not least, exploring new science and applications. In recent years, molecular electronics has expanded into a broader field of molecular-scale electronics, partly because molecular components have to be defined in solid-state contexts via lithography and self-assembly, and effectively become hybrid devices with new and interesting properties. 5. Enhancing Radio Frequency System Performance by Digital Signal Processing
Abstract : In this thesis measurement systems for the purpose of characterization of radio frequency power amplifiers are studied. Methods to increase the speed, accuracy, bandwidth, as well as to reduce the sampling requirements and testing cost are presented. READ MORE
