Abstract : The exposure to isocyanates is more of an occupational problem than a consumer problem. The main route of exposure is assumed to be through inhalation. The focus of this thesis is inflammatory biomarkers, mediators, chemokines and cytokines that attract immune cells and that regulate the course of the inflammatory process at the site of inflammation. Abstract : This thesis describes the characterization of the Arabidopsis thaliana mutant terminal flower2 (tfl2), the cloning of the corresponding gene, and the analysis of TFL2 function in plant development.
