1. Chemical Sensors and Multivariate Data Analysis
Abstract : Today, sensors can be found in many different applications, such as in home appliances, vehicles, medical equipments, mobile technology etc. Nearly all products with a reasonable technological height have a sensor integrated.Chemical Sensors are devices able to sense the chemical environment and are today an active area of research. 2. Infinite dimensional holomorphy in the ring of formal power series : partial differential operators
Abstract : We study holomorphy in the ring of formal power series in an infinite number of variables. Thus we restrict our study to (infinite dimensional) holomorphy on sequence spaces and we show that we obtain a rich theory without requiring any topological structure on the domain space. We make a comprehensive PDO-study for the spaces under consideration. READ MORE

3. Multivariate Exploration and Processing of Sensor Data-applications with multidimensional sensor systems
Abstract : A sensor is a device that transforms a physical, chemical, or biological stimulus into a readable signal. The integral part that sensors make in modern technology is considerable and many are those trying to take the development of sensor technology further. READ MORE

4. Asymptotic Expansions for Perturbed Discrete Time Renewal Equations
Abstract : In this thesis we study the asymptotic behaviour of the solution of a discrete time renewal equation depending on a small perturbation parameter. In particular, we construct asymptotic expansions for the solution of the renewal equation and related quantities. READ MORE

5. Making waves : A study of the patterns and consequences of non-state actor participation in global fisheries governance
Abstract : States have established regional fisheries management organizations (RFMOs) to manage transboundary fish stocks. However, the effectiveness of these bodies has been questioned. Problems with overfishing, illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, and bycatch remain persistent and difficult to solve. READ MORE
