  1. 1. A search for solar dark matter with the IceCube neutrino telescope

    Author : Gustav Wikström; Klas Hultqvist; John Carr; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Dark matter; neutrinos; neutrino telescopes; IceCube; Astroparticle physics; Astropartikelfysik; fysik; Physics;

    Abstract : Dark matter particles in the form of supersymmetric Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) could accumulate in the centre of the Sun because of gravitational trapping. Pair-wise annihilations of WIMPs could create standard model particles out of which neutrinos could reach the Earth. READ MORE

  2. 2. On avoiding and completing colorings

    Author : Lan Anh Pham; Klas Markström; Carl Johan Casselgren; Victor Falgas-Ravry; Roland Häggkvist; Kimmo Eriksson; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Graph coloring; precoloring; list assignment;

    Abstract : All of my papers are related to the problem of avoiding and completing an edge precoloring of a graph. In more detail, given a graph G and a partial proper edge precoloring φ of G and a list assignment L for every non-colored edge of G, can we extend φ to a proper edge coloring of G which avoids L? In Paper I, G is the d-dimensional hypercube graph Qd, a partial proper edge precoloring φ and a list assignment L must satisfy certain sparsity conditions. 3. 3. Sequences and games generalizing the combinatorial game of Wythoff Nim

    Author : Urban Larsson; Göteborgs universitet; []

    Abstract : One single Queen is placed on an arbitrary starting position of a (large) Chess board. Two players alternate in moving the Queen as in a game of Chess but with the restriction that the $L^1$ distance to the lower left corner, position $(0,0)$, must decrease. The player who moves there wins. Let $\phi =\frac{1+\sqrt{5}}{2}$, the golden ratio. READ MORE

  4. 4. Severe health anxiety : novel approaches to diagnosis and psychological treatment

    Author : Erland Axelsson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Background: It has long been known that severe health anxiety is a common psychiatric condition associated with significant distress, functional impairment, and societal costs. Nevertheless, challenges remain with regard to the diagnosis and treatment of this disorder. READ MORE
