    Abstract : This thesis focuses on phylogenetic, taxonomic, ecological, and conservation aspects of the crustose lichen genus Lecania (Ramalinaceae, lichenized Ascomycota).     Abstract : Immune complexes were formed between dinitrophenyl- (DNP-) conjugated human serum albumin (HSA) and anti-DNP antibodies (monoclonal mouse IgA or polyclonal rabbit IgG). However, altered interactions of these may promote chronic inflammation in rheumatic diseases.     Abstract : Branched DNA structures arise during recombination and during other DNA repair processes such as repair of stalled replication forks. One branched structure, the Holliday Junction (HJ), is a four-way junction that can connect sister chromatids or homologous chromosomes.
