    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MoS2; Exfoliation; Inkjet Printing; 2D materials; Environmental Friendly; TMD; thin films; industrial printing; 2D inks; printed electronics; thin films carrier mobility; large-area electronics; graphene analogues; solar cells;

    Abstract : Since the discovery of graphene, substantial effort has been put toward the synthesis and production of 2D materials. Developing scalable methods for the production of high-quality exfoliated nanosheets has proved a significant challenge. READ MORE

  2. 2. Enzyme Printed Fabrics : Bio‐functionalisation of Synthetic Textiles by Digital Inkjet Printing

    Author : Tuser Biswas; Vincent Nierstrasz; Junchun Yu; Tzanko Tzanov; Högskolan i Borås; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Digital printing; inkjet; enzyme; printhead; rheology; immobilisation; piezoelectric; drop-on-demand; resource-efficient textiles; biological ink; lysozyme; tyrosinase; polyphenol oxidase; polyethylene terephthalate; polyester; polyamide-6; 6; nylon; surface modification; plasma; antimicrobial; antibacterial; Textil och mode generell ; Textiles and Fashion General ;

    Abstract : This thesis explores the possibilities of printing enzymes using resource-efficient technologies to promote the binding of other proteins and biomaterials on synthetic textiles. This strategy can be used to develop advanced textiles for applications, for example, in antimicrobial, drug delivery and biosensing. READ MORE

  3. 3. Hybrid printing on fibre-based packaging : Performance, Quality and Market

    Author : Marcus Rehberger; Nils Enlund; Gunter Hübner; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; packaging; corrugated board; surface topography; print quality; variable data printing; hybrid printing; flexography; inkjet; print quality; market survey; Cellulose and paper engineering; Cellulosa- och pappersteknik;

    Abstract : Variable data will play a decisive role in the future of packaging and product promotion. Variable data printing (VDP) is a technique whereby certain information can be altered in an otherwise static layout with the help of a digital printing system, and in the packaging industry a wide range of applications is possible. 4. 4. Inkjet Printing of Graphene-based Microsupercapacitors for Miniaturized Energy Storage Applications

    Author : Szymon Sollami Delekta; Mikael Östling; Jiantong Li; Donald Lupo; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Inkjet printing; graphene; supercapacitor; microsupercapacitor; energy storage; printed electronics; printing technologies; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Abstract : Printing technologies are becoming increasingly popular because they enable the large-scale and low-cost production of functional devices with various designs, functions, mechanical properties and materials. Among these technologies, inkjet printing is promising thanks to its direct (mask-free) patterning, non-contact nature, low material waste, resolution down to 10 µm, and compatibility with a broad range of materials and substrates. 5. 5. Coated Surfaces for Inkjet-Printed Conductors

    Author : Thomas Öhlund; Hans-Erik Nilsson; Jonas Örtegren; Jouko Peltonen; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Inkjet; Nanoparticles; Paper; Flexible substrates; Sintering; Printed Electronics; Functional Printing;

    Abstract : In this thesis, a number of commercially available paper substrates of various types are characterized and their characteristics related to the performance of inkjet-printed conductors using silver nanoparticle ink. The evaluated performance variables are electrical conductivity as well as the minimum achievable conductor width and the edge raggedness. READ MORE
