  1. 1. Eliciting User Experience Information in Early Design Phases. The CARE Approach to In-Vehicle UX

    Author : Ingrid M Pettersson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; user experience; evaluation; in-vehicle; autonomous vehicles; UX; design methods;

    Abstract : Experience-rich input in early phases of a design process can offer valuable information and inspiration to designers. However, there are methodological challenges linked with efforts to understand future user experiences. READ MORE

  2. 2. The temporality of in-vehicle user experience: exploring user experiences from past to future

    Author : Ingrid M Pettersson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Temporality; Future; User Experience; Over Time; Human Machine Interaction; Automotive; Design; Methodology; In-Vehicle Systems;

    Abstract : Cars are nowadays equipped with numerous interactive systems, aiding the driver by providing safety warnings, driving information, support, connectivity and entertainment. Traditionally in the field of in-vehicle system design, the focus of the automotive industry been on safety, i.e. on distraction measures and usability. READ MORE

  3. 3. tRNA Gene Structures in Bacteria

    Author : B. M. Fredrik Pettersson; Leif A. Kirsebom; Anders Byström; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cell and molecular biology; Cell- och molekylärbiologi; mikrobiologi; Microbiology;

    Abstract : In bacteria, tRNA molecules are produced as precursors with additional nucleotides both upstream and downstream of the tRNA coding sequence. To generate a mature tRNA, the endoribonuclease RNase P removes the upstream sequence, while a number of enzymes can remove the downstream sequence. READ MORE

  4. 4. Lubrication and Surface Properties of Adsorbed Layers of Polyelectrolytes and Proteins

    Author : Torbjörn Pettersson; Per M. Claesson; Hans-Jürgen Butt; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; biochemistry; biomedical engineering; Surface and colloid chemistry; Yt- och kolloidkemi;

    Abstract : Friction forces between protein / polyelectrolyte layers, adsorption properties of proteins, and conformational changes due to variation in electrolyte concentration have been investigated. The aim was to obtain better understanding of adsorbed layer properties, with focus on the relation between layer structure and lubrication capabilities. READ MORE

  5. 5. Evaluation of a Miniaturized Rotating Disk Apparatus for In Vitro Dissolution Rate Measurements in Aqueous Media : Correlation of In Vitro Dissolution Rate with Apparent Solubility

    Author : Anita M. Persson; Curt Pettersson; Anders Sokolowski; Anders Karlsson; Alex Avdeef; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; analytical methods; HPLC high-performance liquid chromatography ; miniaturization; in vitro dissolution rate; apparent solubility; physicochemical properties; dissolution media; correlation study; chemometrics; Pharmaceutical chemistry; Farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Analytisk farmaceutisk kemi;

    Abstract : The general aim of this thesis was to evaluate a newly designed and constructed miniaturized rotating disk apparatus for in vitro dissolution rate measurements of different drug substances from all of the classes in the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS). The new equipment is based on a low volume flow-through cell of Plexiglas, a gold plated magnetic bar and a special designed press. READ MORE
