   Abstract : Leukotriene (LT)C4 synthase catalyses conjugation of the unstable epoxide LTA4 with reduced glutathione and is the rate-limiting enzyme in the formation of cysteinyl leukotrienes, powerful mediators of asthma and inflammation.
