    Abstract : Although many aspects of odor naming have received attention during the years, the participants' own cognitions (metamemory) about their naming attempts have not. (i) We showed that feeling of knowing (FOK) judgments accompanying odor naming failures are predictive of later recognition (Study I) or retrieval (Study III) of the missing name, but to a lesser degree than equivalent judgments about names of persons.     Abstract : Language Processing and Contextual Influence A Study of Swedish Preschool Children with Language Impairment The aim of the present work was to study different types of contextual influence on language performance in a variety of tasks: repetition of nonwords, narration, understanding of idioms and picture naming in a group of Swedish preschool children with language impairment (LI).     Abstract : Word-finding difficulties, or anomia, are a common symptom in various conditions affecting the brain, such as stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease (PD). The aim of this thesis is twofold: (i) to increase our knowledge about the similarities and dissimilarities between the word-finding difficulties associated with different kinds of neurological conditions, and (ii) to evaluate treatment effects of anomia treatment using a method called semantic feature analysis (SFA).
