1. The origin of iron ores in Bergslagen, Sweden, and their relationships with polymetallic sulphide ores
Abstract : The Bergslagen mining district of southern Sweden is one of Europe’s classic mining districts with more than 1 000 years of mining history. One of the typical features of Bergslagen is a spatial association between Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu-Au) sulphide deposits and magnetite-rich Fe oxide deposits. READ MORE

2. The origin of the Ryllshyttan stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit, Garpenberg, Bergslagen, Sweden
Abstract : Ryllshyttan is a Palaeoproterozoic lower amphibolite-facies poly-metamorphosed stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit. It is located in the Garpenberg inlier of the Bergslagen mining district of southern Sweden and produced ~ 1 Mt sulphide ore and ~ 0.4 Mt magnetite ore from the early 16th century until 1944. 3. Challenges with Driverless and Unattended Train Operations
Abstract : Demand for transportation continues to increase, for both freight and passenger services. One of the most energy-efficient modes of transportation is rail. One solution to increase the attractiveness of rail transport is to introduce automatic train operation (ATO) with a high grade of automation (GoA). READ MORE

4. Synthesis and Characterization of Multifunctional Carbide- and Boride-based Thin Films
Abstract : This thesis present research on synthesis, microstructure, and properties of carbide- and boride- based thin films. The films have been synthesized by dc magnetron sputtering, and their microstructures have been characterized mainly by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy. 5. Age, origin and tectonothermal modification of the Falun pyritic Zn-Pb-Cu-(Au-Ag) sulphide deposit, Bergslagen, Sweden
Abstract : The Falun pyritic Zn-Pb-Cu-(Au-Ag) sulphide deposit, situated in the Palaeoproterozoic (1.9–1.8 Ga) Bergslagen lithotectonic unit in the south-western part of the Fennoscandian Shield, is one of the major base and precious metal sulphide deposits in Sweden. READ MORE
