1. Tree Structures in Broadcast Encryption
Abstract : The need for broadcast encryption arises when a sender wishes to securely distribute messages to varying subsets of receivers, using a broadcast channel, for instance in a pay-TV scenario. This is done by selecting subsets of users and giving all users in the same subset a common decryption key. READ MORE

2. Bayesian Inference in Large Data Problems
Abstract : In the last decade or so, there has been a dramatic increase in storage facilities and the possibility of processing huge amounts of data. This has made large high-quality data sets widely accessible for practitioners. This technology innovation seriously challenges traditional modeling and inference methodology. READ MORE

3. Human T-lymphocyte activation : interactions between lymphocytes and mitogenic or non-mitogenic lectins
Abstract : The aim of this investigation was to gain further insights in the mechanisms of T-lymphocyte activation by lectins. Interactions between the lectins and purified lymphocytes from human peripheral blood, were studied in the following respects: in vitro culture requirements for lectin induced DNA-synthesis, intercellular regulations of the mitogen response and binding of lectins to lymphocyte surface components. 4. Immunoglobulin Gene Analysis in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia : Characterization of New Prognostic and Biological Subsets
Abstract : Recent studies have shown that the somatic mutation status of the immunoglobulin (Ig) VH genes can divide chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) into two prognostic subsets, since cases with mutated VH genes display superior survival compared to unmutated cases. Biased VH gene usage has also been reported in CLL which may reflect antigen selection. READ MORE

5. Intraspecific divergence and phenotypic plasticity in behavioural profiles of teleost fish
Abstract : Behavioural differences between and within individuals can greatly affect the outcome of behavioural studies. In addition, behavioural interactions between individuals can compromise the health and welfare of captive fish. READ MORE
