  1. 1. Modelling and design of electromechanical actuators for active suspension in rail vehicles

    Author : Peter Kjellqvist; KTH; []
    Keywords : active suspension; electromechanical actuator; permanent magnet synchronous machine; PMSM; rail vehicle; ride comfort;

    Abstract : .... READ MORE

  2. 2. Target-driven road vehicle suspension design

    Author : Yansong Huang; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Kinematics; compliance; reverse design; target; suspension;

    Abstract : This thesis is focused on suspension hardpoint and bushing compliance design with new reverse engineering methods that are based on kinematics and compliance constraints. The kinematic reverse design method is implemented into a conceptual front axle development. The results show that, using this method, the design lead time is reduced by half. READ MORE

  3. 3. Multiobjective Optimisation and Active Control of Bogie Suspension

    Author : Milad Mousavi Bideleh Seyed; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; global sensitivity analysis; Bogie; active control.; robustness analysis; suspension system; multiobjective optimisation;

    Abstract : Railways provide fast, safe, clean, and cheap transportation service. The cost efficiency inrailway operations can be scrutinized from different perspectives. READ MORE

  4. 4. On Active Suspension in Rail Vehicles

    Author : Alireza Qazizadeh; Sebastian Stichel; Rickard Persson; T. X. Mei; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; active suspension; ride comfort; wear; skyhook control; H_infinity control; two-axle rail vehicle; safety; Farkostteknik; Vehicle and Maritime Engineering;

    Abstract : The topic of this PhD thesis is active suspension in rail vehicles whichis usually realized through sensors, controllers and actuation components.A well established example of an active suspension is the tiltingcontrol system used to tilt the carbody in curves to reduce centrifugalacceleration felt by passengers. 5. 5. Iron isotopes in aquatic systems

    Author : Sarah Conrad; Johan Ingri; Michael Bau; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Applied Geochemistry; Tillämpad geokemi;

    Abstract : The cycling of iron (Fe) is a key component for understanding water quality and biogeochemical processes. It serves as mediator during biotic and abiotic processes, as electron acceptor during the degradation of organic matter, as surface for trace element and organic matter adsorption, and is necessary for primary production processes.
