1. On System Identification and Acoustic Echo Cancellation
Abstract : The topic of acoustic echo cancellation has received a lot of interest over the years. Even though the topic is relatively old, the increasing demand for hands-free telephony has made it more important than ever before. READ MORE

2. Learning in the Loop : On Neural Network-based Model Predictive Control and Cooperative System Identification
3. Assessment of cerebrospinal fluid system dynamics : novel infusion protocol, mathematical modelling and parameter estimation for hydrocephalus investigations
Abstract : Patients with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (INPH) have a disturbance in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) system. The treatment is neurosurgical – a shunt is placed in the CSF system. The infusion test is used to assess CSF system dynamics and to aid in the selection of patients that will benefit from shunt surgery. READ MORE

4. On input design in system identification for control
Abstract : There are many aspects to consider when designing system identification experiments in control applications. Input design is one important issue. This thesis considers input design both for identification of linear time-invariant models and for stability validation. READ MORE

5. Hydrobatics: Real-time Control, Simulation and Learning for Underactuated AUVs in Agile Maneuvers
Abstract : The term hydrobatics refers to the agile maneuvering of underwater vehicles. Underwater robots such as autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are either designed as flight style, optimized for range and speed, or hover style, optimized for precise maneuverability.
