1. On Rolling Variators, A study of power transmitting rolling variators when changing speed ratio
Abstract : The introduction of the concept Rolling Variators is proposed for rolling contact continuously variable transmission.A theoretical study of rolling variators when changing the speed ratio during power transmission is presented. READ MORE

2. Integrated In-Wheel Motors for Low Power Traction Application
Abstract : This thesis is primarily concerned with the practical limits, imposed by magnetic saturation and thermal considerations, of the force density in low-speed permanent-magnet electric machines. The practical force density values obtainable in integral- and fractional-slot machines are determined. READ MORE

3. Longitudinal Force Distribution and Road Vehicle Handling
Abstract : The distribution of longitudinal forces has a large influence on vehicle handling characteristics such as the driver/vehicle interaction, road holding and yaw stability, in particular during combined traction/braking and cornering near the grip limit of the tires. In order to select and develop suitable driveline systems and associated active control that provide consistent driver/vehicle handling, maximum road holding and sufficient yaw stability margins, it is essential to understand the influence of a particular drive force distribution on these handling characteristics. 4. Complicated vacuum extraction : focus on traction force
Abstract : Introduction: Vacuum extraction is a common operative vaginal delivery in the final stage of labor, and generally considered a safe alternative to emergency cesarean section. However, there is insufficient evidence regarding the causes of the rare but severe perinatal complications that may occur, such as intracranial or subgaleal hemorrhage, and possibly also asphyxia related encephalopathy. 5. On Drive Force Distribution and Road Vehicle Handling - A Study of Understeer and Lateral Grip
Abstract : Computer controlled vehicle sub-systems aimed to support drivers in various drivingsituations are rapidly increasing in number and sophistication. These systemshave evolved from anti-lock braking and traction control systems, to electronic stabilitycontrol. READ MORE
