  1. 1. Fixed-Feedback SISO Adaptive Control

    University dissertation from Chalmers University of Technology

    Author : Magnus Nilsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola.; Chalmers University of Technology.; [2010]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Reglerteknik; Automatic control; Adaptive Control; Feedforward Control; Two-Degrees-of-Freedom Control;

    Abstract : Adaptive control is an attractive method to solve control problems since the tedious task of identifying process behavior to find a suitable design for the controller is taken care of by the adaptive controller itself. It may be difficult, however, to guarantee robustness (in the sense of desired disturbance attenuation and stability margins) for traditional adaptive schemes since their corresponding loop gain is time varying. 2. 2. On Feedforward Adaptation

    University dissertation from Chalmers University of Technology

    Author : Magnus Nilsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola.; Chalmers University of Technology.; [2007]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Reglerteknik; Automatic control; feedforward; adaptive; control;

    Abstract : Adaptation of a feedforward term in a two-degrees-of-freedom servo controller for single-input single-output systems is investigated in this thesis. The first part ofthe thesis gives a clarifying analysis of feedback-error learning in a linear and time-invariant framework. READ MORE

  3. 3. Route Optimized Energy Management of Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    University dissertation from Chalmers University of Technology

    Author : Viktor Larsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola.; Chalmers University of Technology.; [2014]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles; Energy management; Dynamic Programming; Pontryagin principle; Convex optimization; Splines; Data clustering;

    Abstract : Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles have the potential to significantly reduce the oil dependence within the transportation sector. However, there will always be some trips that exceed the electric driving range, meaning that both electric energy and fuel must be used. READ MORE

  4. 4. On Sensor Fusion Applied to Industrial Manipulators

    University dissertation from Linköping : Linköping University Electronic Press

    Author : Patrik Axelsson; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; [2011]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : One of the main tasks for an industrial robot is to move the end-effector in a predefined path with a specified velocity and acceleration. Different applications have different requirements of the performance. For some applications it is essential that the tracking error is extremely low, whereas other applications require a time optimal tracking. READ MORE
