  1. 1. Developmental Aspects of Text Production in Writing and Speech

    Author : Victoria Johansson; Allmän språkvetenskap; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; working memory; writing processes; expository; narrative; genre; keystroke logging; development in speech and writing; expertise; cognitive load; pauses in writing;

    Abstract : This thesis aims at describing the developmental patterns of text production in four text types: spoken and written narrative texts, and spoken and written expository texts (n=316), produced by four age groups: 10-year-olds, 13-year-olds, 17-year-olds and university students (n=79). It explores material from an experimental study with a cross-sectional design comprising spoken texts recorded on video and written texts recorded by means of keystroke logging, which makes it possible to investigate the real-time process of written text production. 3. 3. Development of LC-MS/MS Methods for the Analysis of Chiral and Achiral Pharmaceuticals and Metabolites in Aqueous Environmental Matrices

    Author : Victoria K.H. Barclay; Curt Pettersson; Monika Johansson; Niklas Tyrefors; Mohamed Abdel-Rehim; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Environmental water matrices; chiral separation; LC-MS MS; trace analysis; method development; active pharmaceutical ingredients; metabolites; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Analytisk farmaceutisk kemi;

    Abstract : This thesis describes the development of liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods for the trace analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and their metabolites in aqueous environmental matrices. The research was focused on the development of chiral LC-MS/MS methods for the analysis of fluoxetine and metoprolol, as well as their chiral metabolites in environmental water samples. READ MORE

  4. 4. Writing in deaf and hard-of-hearing children : A bimodal bilingual perspective on their written products and writing processes

    Author : Moa Gärdenfors; Krister Schönström; Victoria Johansson; Naomi Caselli; Stockholms universitet; []

    Abstract : This thesis presents unique insights into the written products and writing processes of Swedish deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) children using a keystroke logging tool. Writing processes encompass the activities (such as planning or revision) that writers engage in during the production of the written text. READ MORE

  5. 5. U-Pb dating of detrital zircon from the Mt. Alfred area, Yilgarn Craton, Western Australia

    Author : Ross Kielman; Martin Whitehouse; Alexander Nemchin; Victoria Pease; Åke Johansson; Jenny Andersson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Detrital zircon; Geochronology; Archean; Hadean; Western Australia; Geology; geologi;

    Abstract : Hadean and Paleo-Eoarchean aged detrital zircon provide a rare glimpse into the nature of the early Earth. Thus, the characterisation of new localities with rocks that host Hadean and Paleo-Eoarchean zircon provide invaluable insight into the Earth’s early crust. READ MORE
