  2. 2. Visualization of Air Flow, Temperature and Concentration Indoors Whole-field measuring methods and CFD

    University dissertation from Stockholm : KTH

    Author : Mathias Cehlin; Högskolan i Gävle.; KTH.; [2006]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Whole-field; CFD; Visualization; TECHNOLOGY Other technology Environmental engineering; TEKNIKVETENSKAP Övriga teknikvetenskaper Miljöteknik;

    Abstract : The thermal indoor climate is a complicated combination of a number of physical variables, all of which strongly affect people’s well-being. The indoor climate not only heavily affects people’s health and life quality, but also their productivity and ability to work efficiently. READ MORE

  3. 3. Cloud Studies with the Droplet Aerosol Analyzer

    University dissertation from Division of Nuclear Physics

    Author : Maria Berghof; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2015]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cloud; Aerosol; DAA;

    Abstract : Climate change and atmospheric aerosols are a threat for human health and life. Reducing aerosol emissions would save human lives close to the aerosol source, but could lead to more death due to the implications of a warmer climate. READ MORE

  4. 4. Laser-Based Techniques for Combustion Diagnostics

    University dissertation from Division of Combustion Physics, Department of Physics, Lund University

    Author : Nikola Georgiev; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [1997]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; LIF; Laser-based diagnostic techniques; PS; DFWM; Fysik; Fysicumarkivet A:1997:Georgiev;

    Abstract : Two-photon-induced Degenerate Four-Wave Mixing, DFWM, was applied for the first time to the detection of CO, and NH3 molecules. Measurements were performed in a cell, and in atmospheric-pressure flames. In the cell measurements, the signal dependence on the pressure and on the laser beam intensity was studied. READ MORE
