1. Creating Optical Activity: Total Spontaneous Resolution and Viedma Ripening
Abstract : The creation of optical activity has been considered as something impossible even though reports of such creation via total spontaneous resolution since the 1940´s have been published. More recently Viedma ripening have been developed that also produce enantiopure bulk product. Both methods are examples of absolute asymmetric synthesis i.e. READ MORE

2. Effect of timing training in golf and soccer players : skill, movement organization, and brain activity
Abstract : Background Although trainers and athletes consider ‘good timing skills’ to be critical for optimal sport performance, little is known in regard to how sport-specific skills may benefit from timing training. Thus, assuming that all motor performances are mediated by an internal timing mechanism, enhanced motor timing is expected to have positive effects on both planning and execution of movement performance, and consequently on complex sports actions as golf or soccer. 3. Multi-Agent Systems Supported Collaboration in Diabetic Healthcare
Abstract : This thesis proposes a holistic and hierarchical architecture to Multi-agent System design, in order to resolve the collaboration problem in diabetic healthcare system. A diabetic healthcare system is a complex and social system in the case that it involves many actors and interrelations. READ MORE

4. Homochiral crystals for selective synthesis
Abstract : Six new coordination compounds were prepared from monodentate sulfide ligands and copper(I) halides and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The aim was to prepare coordination polymers that crystallize as conglomerates in order to use them in total spontaneous resolution. READ MORE

5. Sensorimotor control and cervical range of motion in women with chronic neck pain : Kinematic assessments and effects of neck coordination exercise
Abstract : Introduction: Neck pain is a common problem in society and is more prevalent among women. The consequences of neck pain for the individual often include activity and participation limitations, thus affecting many dimensions of life. READ MORE
