1. Development of a regeneration procedure for commercial automotive three-wy catalysts
Abstract : Car exhaust catalysts were introduced in the early 1980’s, to limit the release of pollutants such as hydrocarbons, carbon monoxides and nitrogen oxides. These catalysts contain noble metals such as palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt) and rhodium (Rh) and are able to simultaneously abate all three of the above-mentioned pollutants, hence the name three-way catalyst (TWC). 3. Mathematical Modelling in Catalytic Automotive Pollution Control
Abstract : Design and control of honeycomb monolith reactors for catalytic automotive pollution control by mathematical modelling of the reactor has been studied. One aspect of the design has been that the use of metallic monolithic catalysts for automotive emission control raises certain optimization possibilities. READ MORE

4. Polymer Electrolyte Fuel Cells in Reformate Power Generators
Abstract : The topic of this thesis is the generation of electricity from hydrocarbon fuels via polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFC). The aim has been to develop methods and hardware for experimental evaluation of process parameters and design variables in PEFC reformate cells and stacks. READ MORE

5. Deactivation of commercial three-way catalysts: effect of the thermal ageing
Abstract : This licentiate thesis is a summary of my study on thermal deactivated commercial threeway catalysts (TWCs). The experiments were performed using gasoline and a E85 fuelmixture of 85 vol.% ethanol and 15 vol.% gasoline. READ MORE
