  2. 2. Centra of Quiver Algebras

    Author : Elin Gawell; Christian Gottlieb; Qimh Xantcha; Jan Snellman; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; quiver; algebra; commutativity ideal; anti-commutativity ideal; non-commutative; partly commutative; partly anti-commutative; center; Koszul algebra; finitely generated; graded center; Hochschild cohomology; support variety; associative algebra; Mathematics; matematik;

    Abstract : A partly (anti-)commutative quiver algebra is a quiver algebra bound by an (anti-)commutativity ideal, that is, a quadratic ideal generated by monomials and (anti-)commutativity relations. We give a combinatorial description of the ideals and the associated generator graphs, from which one can quickly determine if the ideal is admissible or not. READ MORE

  3. 3. Cross-cultural differences in patients with temporomandibular disorders-pain : a multi-center study

    Author : Mohammad H. Al-Harthy; Malmö högskola; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; TMD-smärta; Sverige; Saudiarabien; Italien; Kvinnliga patienter; Behandling;

    Abstract : The overall objective of this thesis was to investigate patients with TMD-pain and TMD-free controls in three cultures (Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and Italy) to determine the influence of culture on and crosscultural differences in pain prevalence and intensity, sensitivity to mechanical and electrical stimulation, pain-related disability for four comorbid pain conditions (back, head, chest, and stomach pain) in the last 6 months, and the type of treatment that patients with TMD pain received. The specific aims were: (i) To determine the frequency of TMD pain in Saudi Arabians (I). READ MORE

  4. 4. Traffic Management in Software-Defined Data Center Networks

    Author : Cristian Hernandez Benet; Andreas Kassler; Boris Koldehofe; Karlstads universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SDN; data center; load-balancing; traffic management; EVPN; big data; programmable data plane; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Traffic management in data centers is paramount to improving network and application performance, thereby improving the quality of service by reducing network congestion, packet loss, and latency. However, the deployment and configuration of traffic management techniques are challenging due to diverse data-center traffic characteristics, large data center topologies, and the interplay of different protocols at the routing, transport, and link layer. 5. 5. Leisure-time youth-center as health-promotion settings

    Author : Ingela Fredriksson; Koustuv Dalal; Charli Eriksson; Susanna Geidne; Urban Janlert; Örebro universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Youth-center; Leisure-time; Health-promotion; Settings; NGO; Strategies; Participation; Multicultural Suburbs; Policy;

    Abstract : Leisure time is an important part of young people’s lives. Despite this, leisure-time settings have hitherto had only a minor role in setting-based health-promotion initiatives. Improving adolescents’ quality of leisuretime activities can reduce social differences in health, thus youth-centers can be appropriate settings for promoting health. READ MORE
