1. Well Testing, Methods and Applicability
Abstract : Well testing is widely used today in water wells, oil and gas wells, for geothermal applications, within civil engineering projects, thermal storage and CO2 storage. The overall testing goal is to verify the productivity from a well and/or for characterization of hydraulic and thermal properties, as well as the spatial limitations of an aquifer. READ MORE

2. Completion of Ontologies and Ontology Networks
Abstract : The World Wide Web contains large amounts of data, and in most cases this data has no explicit structure. The lack of structure makes it difficult for automated agents to understand and use such data. A step towards a more structured World Wide Web is the Semantic Web, which aims at introducing semantics to data on the World Wide Web. READ MORE

3. Exact completion and type-theoretic structures
Abstract : This thesis consists of four papers and is a contribution to the study of representations of extensional properties in intensional type theories using, mainly, the language and tools from category theory. Our main focus is on exact completions of categories with weak finite limits as a category-theoretic description of the setoid construction in Martin-Löf's intensional type theory. READ MORE

4. Perspectives on living with coeliac disease in remission : Daily life experiences, symptoms and well-being
Abstract : Background and aims: Despite living with a gluten-free diet (GFD) Swedish women with coeliac disease (CD) report a lower level of well-being than women without the disease and men with the disease. The all-embracing aim of the thesis was to study experiences of living with coeliac disease in remission and to discover whether a patient education intervention can influence the perceived health and daily life of women with coeliac disease. 5. Rank Reduction with Convex Constraints
Abstract : This thesis addresses problems which require low-rank solutions under convex constraints. In particular, the focus lies on model reduction of positive systems, as well as finite dimensional optimization problems that are convex, apart from a low-rank constraint. READ MORE
