1. Biodegradable Blends and Nanocomposite Films with Amylopectin, Poly(lactic acid) and Chitosan Matrices
READ MORE

2. Efficient Trading in the Short-term Electricity Markets for Integration of Renewable Energy Sources : Multistage Stochastic and Agent-based Modeling Approaches for Continuous Intraday Electricity Market
Abstract : This thesis investigates the role of different short-term electricity market design aspects that can facilitate better coordination of resources within the power system. The work also emphasizes on better cross-border integration of the short-term markets to improve the market liquidity, competition, social welfare, and flexibility in the system, which is essential for facilitating the integration of renewable sources. 3. Studies on Oxidative Couplings in H-Phosphonate Chemistry
Abstract : In this thesis oxidative coupling of H-phosphonate and H phosphonothioate diesters with different alcohols and amines are presented. Since the reactions with alcohols previously have been particularly unfavourable due to competing side reactions, a modified protocol leading to high coupling yields of structurally diverse hydroxylic components was developed. 4. Vehicle-in-the-loop validation of autonomous cars
Abstract : Validation of autonomous driving (AD) cars is a difficult task because of the complexity that results from the integration of multiple systems and the variety of operating conditions. To this end, testing with real vehicles is crucial to ensure a thorough validation of AD cars. READ MORE

5. A vibrational spectroscopy study of the growth of silicate-1 films on noble metal surfaces
Abstract : The main objective of this thesis was to acquire a better understanding of the mechanisms involved in the preparation of Silicalite-1 films in general and on gold surfaces in particular. Molecular sieve films on gold surfaces were prepared using the seed film method. READ MORE
