11. Modeling and Control of a PMSynRel Drive for a Plug-InHybrid Electric Vehicle
Abstract : This thesis presents two transient models for a prototype integrated charger for use in a plug-in hybrid-electrical vehicle application. The models can be useful in order to develop control algorithms for the system or to recommend improvements to the machine design. READ MORE

12. Analysis and Control Aspects of a PMSynRel Drive in a Hybrid Electric Vehicle Application
Abstract : This thesis deals withmodeling and control of an electric drive equipped with a permanentmagnet assisted synchronous reluctance (PMSynRel) machine for a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle application. In the first part of the thesis, a special use of the PMSynRel machine in consideration, known as an integrated charger concept, is investigated. 13. On Direct Drive Bone Conduction Devices - Hearing Rehabilitation and Objective Assessment of Stimulation Methods
Abstract : Bone conduction devices (BCDs) rely on the transmission of sound in form of vibrations generated by a transducer to the inner ear via the skull and surrounding soft tissues. Direct drive BCDs stimulate the skull bone directly, either via a skin-penetrating abutment (BAHAs, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids), or with a transducer implanted under intact skin (active transcutaneous devices). 14. Stabilization of an induction machine drive
Abstract : Modern electric trains almost exclusively use inductionmachines fed by voltage source inverters for propulsion. Toreduce external as well as internal disturbances, an LC-filteris inserted between the input terminals of the drive and theinverter. READ MORE

15. Lower hybrid current drive in the Tore Supra tokamak
Abstract : To control and extract energy from nuclear fusion reactions, a mixture of deuterium and tritium gases must be heated to temperatures on the order of 100 million degrees, whilst maintaining a sufficiently high density. The main difficulty is to confine the ionised gases, i.e. plasma, until the rate of fusion reactions becomes large enough. READ MORE
