1. Silicone Rubber Insulators: Impacts of Material Formulation in Coastal Environment
Abstract : This thesis deals with influences of material formulation on the performance of silicone rubber high voltage insulators in a coastal environment. Samples and insulators with known differences in material compositions have been used in this task. In the first step, a screening test with cylindrical samples was initiated. READ MORE

3. Chloride transport and chloride thresholdvalues-Studies on concretes and mortars with Portland cement and limestone blended cement
Abstract : Reinforced concrete is one of the most widely used building materials and if it is properly designed and produced, it is an extremely durable material with a service life up to 100 years. However, under certain environmental conditions the service life of reinforced concrete structures is more limited. READ MORE

4. Variables affecting stress development and resin conversion in light-cured dental composites
Abstract : The general aim of this dissertation was to identify and investigate factors that can be used to minimize stress development in light cured dental resins without compromising the conversion level of the polymer. Modulus of elasticity, polymerization contraction strain, degree of conversion and shrinkage of light-cure dental composites were determined after curing with three different light power densities where total irradiated energy (J/cm2) kept constant. 5. Dielectric properties of poly(ethyelene-co-butyl acrylate) filled with Alumina nanoparticles
Abstract : In this work dielectric properties of the poly(ethylene-co-butyl acrylate)filled with alumina nanoparticles are evaluated. These nanocomposite materialswere manufactured at the department of Fibre and Polymer Technology,KTH.This study is limited to the properties of general importance for the AC applications. READ MORE
