    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; acceptance; analysis; auxiliary system; bus; Clean Urban Transport for Europe; concept; CUTE; demonstration; driver; drive cycle; duty cycle; energy flow; evaluation; fuel cell; heavy duty vehicle; hybrid management; hybrid vehicle; hydrogen; passenger; PEM; safety; Sankey diagram; series hybrid; sustainable; test; urban transport; vehicle simulation; acceptans; analys; hjälpaggregat; buss; Clean Urban Transport for Europe; koncept; CUTE; demonstration; körcykel; förare; energiflöde; utvärdering; bränslecell; tunga fordon; hybridsystemkontroll; hybridfordon; vätgas; passagerare; PEM; säkerhet; Sankey-diagram; seriehybrid; uthållig; hållbar; test; stadstransport; fordonssimulering; Vehicle engineering; Farkostteknik; Chemical engineering; Kemiteknik;

    Abstract : Several aspects make today’s transport system non-sustainable: • Production, transport and combustion of fossil fuels lead to global and local environmental problems. • Oil dependency in the transport sector may lead to economical and political instability. READ MORE

  2. 2. The Pneumatic Hybrid Vehicle - A New Concept for Fuel Consumption Reduction

    Author : Sasa Trajkovic; Förbränningsmotorer; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; VVA; Regenerative; Air-motor; Compressor; Pneumatic; Hybrid; Vehicle; Electric Hybrid; Drive Cycle; GT-Power; Simulink; FPGA;

    Abstract : Urban traffic involves frequent acceleration and deceleration. During deceleration, the energy previously used to accelerate the vehicle is mainly wasted on heat generated by the friction brakes. If this energy that is wasted in traditional internal combustion engines (ICE) could be saved, the fuel economy would improve. READ MORE

  3. 3. Predictive Control of Hybrid Electric Vehicles on Prescribed Routes

    Author : Lars Johannesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Energy Management; Powertrain Control; Predictive Control; Dynamic Programming; Vehicle Telematics; Hybrid Electric Vehicle; Hybrid Electric Powertrains;

    Abstract : At the highest level in the powertrain control system in a hybrid electric vehicle an energy management controller interprets the driver’s pedal actions as a torque that is to be delivered at the powertrain output. The energy management controller distributes this torque between the engine and the electric machines and decides when to change gear and when to turn off the engine for pure electric propulsion. 4. 4. On Energy Management Strategies for Hybrid Electric Vehicles

    Author : Lars Johannesson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hybrid Electric Vehicle; Energy Management; Vehicle Telematics; Powertrain Control; Stochastic Dynamic Programming; Driver Model; Predictive Control; Hybrid Vehicle;

    Abstract : Hybrid electric vehicles are characterized by the existence of an electric energy buffer in the powertrain. Compared to a conventional vehicle the existence of the buffer means an extra degree of freedom in the powertrain. READ MORE

  5. 5. Component and system design of a mild hybrid 48 V powertrain for a light vehicle

    Author : Stefan Skoog; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
