  1. 1. Modeling and Analysis of PMSM with Turn-To-Turn Fault

    Author : Joachim Härsjö; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; electromagnetic forces; vibration.; inter-turn; fault; fault detection; turn-to-turn fault; Permanent magnet synchronous machine PMSM modeling;

    Abstract : Thanks to its high-torque density and high efficiency, the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) is today used in a vast range of applications, spanning from automotive to wind. Since in a PMSM the excitation field is provided by a permanent magnet instead of a coil, this machine does not have a rotor circuit and thereby the risk for electrical failures can be isolated on the stator circuit. 2. 2. Language - mirror of culture : a case study on language socialization with Finns living in Finland and Sweden, and Swedes living in Sweden

    Author : Marja-Terttu Tryggvason; Ann-Carita Evaldsson; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Sociolinguistics; cultural comparison; language socialization; family dinner conversation; conversational style; involvement; Språksocialisation; Finnar; språk; Sverige; Svenskar; pedagogik; Education;

    Abstract : The purpose of the present study was to compare language socialization, i.e. how to use language and how to socialize children to use language, in three cultural groups: Finns living in Finland and Sweden and Swedes living in Sweden. Since language socialization is assumed to result in a conversational style, this was studied from different angles. READ MORE

  3. 3. Modeling, analysis, state and parameter estimation of faulty induction machines

    Author : Mikael Stocks; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Reglerteknik; Control Engineering;

    Abstract : This thesis covers a broad range of subjects pertaining to induction machines, faulty as well as healthy ones. Firstly, a completely new and unconventional methodology for deriving simplest possible, yet sufficiently accurate, mathematical models for induction machines with general electrical faults is presented.
