1. Nurturing a heritage language : Language-centered practices in mother-child interactions in multilingual families
Abstract : Situated within research on language socialization and family language policy, this thesis explores how young children (2–4 years old) learn their heritage language in multilingual, transnational families, and how multilingualism becomes an integral part of family life.
