  1. 1. Lower hybrid current drive in the Tore Supra tokamak

    Author : Emelie Nilsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; fusion plasma physics; fast electron dynamics; launcher; tokamak; radio frequency waves; lower hybrid current drive;

    Abstract : To control and extract energy from nuclear fusion reactions, a mixture of deuterium and tritium gases must be heated to temperatures on the order of 100 million degrees, whilst maintaining a sufficiently high density. The main difficulty is to confine the ionised gases, i.e. plasma, until the rate of fusion reactions becomes large enough. READ MORE

  2. 2. On State-Space Models in System Identification

    Author : Tomas McKelvey; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : This thesis considers identification of multivariable discrete time linear systems by using time-invariant state-space models of finite dimension. A new model structure is introduced that is fully parametrized, i. e. all matrices are filled with parameters. READ MORE

  3. 3. Identification of State-Space Models from Time and Frequency Data

    Author : Tomas McKelvey; Lennart Ljung; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : This dissertation considers the identication of linear multivariable systems using finite dimensional time-invariant state-space models.Parametrization of multivariable state-space models is considered. A full parametrization, where all elements in the state-space matrices are parameters, is introduced. READ MORE

  4. 4. Advanced automotive radar front-end based on gapwaveguide technology

    Author : Qiannan Ren; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; MMIC; FMCW; gapwaveguide; packaging; automotive; dual circular polarization; antenna; imaging radar; polarimetric radar; Integration; LiP; MIMO;

    Abstract : The pursuit of higher levels of autonomous driving necessitates the utilization of advanced radar sensors that possess improved environmental perception capabilities. Consequently, next-generation automotive radars require sophisticated antenna systems with high efficiency, thereby making waveguide antennas a more viable choice. READ MORE
