    Abstract : Neonatal hypoxic ischemia (HI) is a severe condition characterized by a complex pathophysiology. The lack of oxygen (hypoxia) and blood flow (ischemia) leads to neuronal cell death via necrosis and apoptosis, and a consequent post-ischemic inflammation.
