To understand this issue three questions were formulated: 1) why did this occur, 2) which services provide the alternatives and 3) has this transition led to community participation?     Abstract : The aim of this study is to contribute to understanding of how children try to understand and interpret their own father and his (possibly) violent actions against their mother in relation to their general conceptualizations concerning fathers and violence. A general social psychological and interactionist approach is related to the children’s selves as the organizing and experiencing structures, the family as the arena for experiences and communicative interaction, and society as a structure of norms and general ideas.     Abstract : This dissertation examines the public interventions, rhetoric, and actions of liberal intellectuals in Turkey between the early 1990sand 2012 regarding the rights of Kurdish and Islamic actors and restrictions on discussing the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Theanalysis of diverse texts published by the interconnected intellectuals – newspaper columns, academic articles, policy papers,reports, and manifestos – and the institutions they used shows how an effective counter-public could take shape in relation to thestate and to dominant publics.     Abstract : Laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF) is based on the principle that a Doppler shift occurs when coherent light is scattered by a moving object, i.e. red blood cell (RBC).
