1. Hydrodynamics of plane liquid jets aimed at applications in paper manufacturing
Abstract : Process industries are in general depending, in one way or the other, on fluid mechanics.Specifically, paper manufacturing, which probably is the dominant processindustry in Sweden, is depending on the flow of cellulose fibres suspended in water. READ MORE

2. Large Eddy Simulation for the Analysis of Supersonic Jet Noise Suppression Devices
Abstract : Stricter noise regulations for commercial and military aircraft have increased interest in noise reduction techniques within the aerospace industry. To meet the requirements, new noise suppression technologies have to be developed and numerical methods need to be validated and possibly improved for the correct assessment of these technologies. 3. A Study of Mach 0.75 Jets and Their Radiated Sound Using Large-Eddy Simulation
Abstract : Large-Eddy Simulations (LES) of a compressible nozzle/jet configuration have been carried out. Two jets were simulated, an isothermal jet and a jet with a higher temperature than the surrounding air. The Mach number was in both cases 0.75 and the jet Reynolds number was 50,000. READ MORE

4. Experimental Investigation of Cavitation-Bubble-Induced Atomization
Abstract : Improving the efficiency and lowering the emissions of internal combustion engines (ICE) has been drawing increased attention because climate change caused by greenhouse gases and the need to reduce emission harmful to human health, and stricter legislation on the emissions from liquid-fueled transportation is implemented. Design of the liquid fuel atomizer, which atomizes the fuel delivered into the combustion chamber by the fuel injection system, is important because a good atomization, which facilitates the evaporation of fuel and improves the fuel-air mixture, leads to higher efficiency and lower emissions of ICE. 5. A study of bubble behaviors in a liquid steel bath
Abstract : The fundamental aspects of rising argon bubbles in molten metal flow were investigated by numerical simulations. The process of a bubble rising in the molten metal includes two steps, one is the bubble rising inside the liquid, and the other one is the bubble rising across the liquid surface. READ MORE
