  1. 1. Olfactory Metacognition : A Metamemory Perspective on Odor Naming

    Author : Fredrik Jönsson; Mats Olsson; Henrik Olsson; Egon P. Köster; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Psychology; odor identification; odor naming; metamemory; confidence; tip of the tongue experience; tip of the nose experience; feeling of knowing; Psykologi; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Abstract : Although many aspects of odor naming have received attention during the years, the participants' own cognitions (metamemory) about their naming attempts have not. (i) We showed that feeling of knowing (FOK) judgments accompanying odor naming failures are predictive of later recognition (Study I) or retrieval (Study III) of the missing name, but to a lesser degree than equivalent judgments about names of persons. 2. 2. Timing Modes for the MAX IV Storage Rings

    Author : Teresia Olsson; Lunds universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Synchrotron light storage rings; timing experiments; ultralow emittance; harmonic cavities; fill patterns; PPRE; PSB; Fysicumarkivet A:2018:Olsson;

    Abstract : The MAX IV facility includes two storage rings, operated at 1.5 and 3 GeV energy, for the purpose of producing high-brilliance synchrotron radiation for users. The 1.5 GeV ring replaces the previous MAX II and MAX III storage rings as a source of UV and soft X-rays, whereas the 3 GeV ring is optimized for hard X-rays. READ MORE

  3. 3. Hyponatremia - Early differential diagnosis, management and prognosis

    Author : Karin Olsson; Kardiovaskulär forskning - hypertoni; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Hyponatremia; differential diagnosis; Biomarkers; apelin; vasopressin; Prognosis and survival; bioreactance;

    Abstract : Abstract Hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte imbalance. It is associated with increased morbidity and in-hospital mortality. An effective early management is dependent on knowledge of epidemiology in the current population, accurate assessment of patient volume status and efficient diagnostic investigation. READ MORE

  4. 4. Experimental studies of ion transport in cementitious materials under partially saturated conditions

    Author : Nilla Olsson; Avdelningen för Byggnadsmaterial; []
    Keywords : Cement; Bruk; Betong; Jontransport; Fukttransport; Sorptionsisoterm; Tillsatsmaterial; Kiselstoft; Masugnsslagg; Ciment; Mortier; Béton; Transport ionique; Transport d humidité; Sorption de vapeur d eau; Additions minérales; Fumée de silice; Laitier de haut fourneau granulé moulu; Cement; Mortar; Concrete; Ion transport; moisture transport; Water vapor sorption; Supplementary cementitious materials SCMs ; Silica fume; Ground granulated blast furnace slag;

    Abstract : Cement production is responsible for a significant portion of manmade CO2 emissions. This motivates the development of cementitious binders with a lower carbon footprint. Considering the emissions in a longer perspective, the durability of concrete structures is absolutely essential. READ MORE

  5. 5. Sjögren's syndrome: epidemiological risk factors and biomarkers

    Author : Peter Olsson; Internmedicin - epidemiologi; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Sjögren syndrome; cytokine; Interferon Type I; Cigarette smoking;

    Abstract : Primary Sjögren’s syndrome (pSS) is an autoimmune disease, primarliy affecting women, characterised by inflammation and destruction of exocrine glands with a prevalence of 0.01-0.09%. About one-third of the patients also suffer from extraglandular manifestations e. READ MORE
