  1. 1. Nonparametric Functional Estimation under Order Restrictions

    Author : Dragi Anevski; Matematisk statistik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; monotonicity; convexity; deconvolution; kernel smoothing; NPMLE; long range dependence; greatest convex minorant; mixing; Density estimation; limit distribution.; regression; Mathematics; Matematik;

    Abstract : This thesis consists of three papers (Papers A-C) on problems in nonparametric functional estimation, in particular density and regression function estimation and deconvolution, under order assumptions. Pointwise limit distribution results are stated for the obtained estimators, which include isotonic regression estimates, nonparametric maximum likelihood estimates of monotone densities, estimates of convex regression and density functions and deconvolution estimates. 4. 4. Blow-ups and normal bundles in derived algebraic geometry and beyond

    Author : Jeroen Hekking; David Rydh; Marco Robalo; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; derived algebraic geometry; blow-ups; normal bundles; Weil restrictions; Matematik; Mathematics;

    Abstract : The main part of this thesis, Part II, consists of four papers. A summary and background is provided in Part I.Paper A introduces blow-ups of derived schemes in arbitrary centers, which is a generalization of the quasi-smooth case from [KR19]. READ MORE

  5. 5. Identification and promotion of attitudes related to pro-environmental travel behaviour

    Author : Maria Johansson; Institutionen för arkitektur och byggd miljö; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; pollution control; Environmental technology; travel behaviour; traffic restrictions; pro-environmental attitudes; politicians; computerised gaming simulation environmental knowledge; civil servants; children; adolescents; adults; Miljöteknik; kontroll av utsläpp; Road transport technology; Vägtransportteknik; Psychology; Psykologi;

    Abstract : A reduction of the negative environmental impact caused by urban traffic will to a considerable extent depend on behavioural change. Assuming that attitudes partly guide behaviour, the general aim of the thesis was to increase the understanding of the underlying attitudes of daily travel behaviour and how attitudes related to pro-environmental choice of transport can be promoted.
