  1. 1. Partial vaginismus : definition, symptoms and treatment

    Author : Maria Engman; Barbro Wijma; Lotti Helström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Partial vaginismus; vulvar vestibulitis; provoked vestibulodynia; electromyography; pelvic floor muscles; burning pain; itch; symptoms; long-term follow-up; cognitive behaviour therapy; Obstetrics and gynaecology; Obstetrik och gynekologi;

    Abstract : Vaginismus is a sexual pain disorder, where spasm of musculature of the outer third of the vagina interferes with intercourse. Vaginismus exists in two forms: total vaginismus, where intercourse is impossible, and the more seldom described partial vaginismus, in which intercourse is possible but painful. READ MORE

  2. 2. Coaching partial plans : an approach to knowledge-based tutoring

    Author : Tomas Sokolnicki; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The thesis describes a design for how a tutoring system can enhance the educational capabilities of a conventional knowledge-based system. Our approach to intelligent tutoring has been conceived within the framework of the KNOWLEDGE-LINKER project, which aims to develop tools and methods to support knowledge management and expert advice-giving for generic applications. 3. 3. Infinite dimensional holomorphy in the ring of formal power series : partial differential operators

    Author : Henrik Petersson; Andrei Khrennikov; Sean Dineen; Växjö universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Infinite dimensional holomorphy; Formal power series; Fourier-Borel transform; Paley-Wiener theorem; Fischer decomposition; Fischer pair; Fock space; Cauchy-Problem; Kergin operator; PDE-preserving; Pseudo-differential operators.; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK;

    Abstract : We study holomorphy in the ring of formal power series in an infinite number of variables. Thus we restrict our study to (infinite dimensional) holomorphy on sequence spaces and we show that we obtain a rich theory without requiring any topological structure on the domain space. We make a comprehensive PDO-study for the spaces under consideration. READ MORE

  4. 4. Partial discharges studied by dielectric response method

    Author : Xiangdong Xu; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; frequency domain spectroscopy; AWIS; partial discharge excess current; dielectric characterization; partial discharge; non-PD excess current;

    Abstract : The increasing demand of integrating various renewable energy recourses in power system requires extensive use of power electronic solutions, which allows energy conversion between different frequencies and stabilizes the system. Consequently, other than the traditional 50/60 Hz sinusoidal voltage stresses act on the high voltage insulation systems. READ MORE

  5. 5. Partial Discharges at Fast Rising Voltages

    Author : Thomas Hammarström; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; short rise time; cavities; high dV dt.; measurements; Partial discharges; square like voltages; repetitive voltages;

    Abstract : The present demand for higher efficiency and flexibility in the energy sector has led to an increased use of power electronic generated waveforms as these allow energy conversion between different frequencies including DC. The generated waveforms are usually synthesized by so called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) techniques, where the desired waveform is approximated by a number of square shaped pulses with a short rise time.
