3. Frame Analysis in Environmental Conflicts : The case of ethanol production in Brazil
Abstract : Governments and policy-makers are currently dealing with some key issues as energy security in countries dependent on oil imports; global economic development, including increased food production; and controlling global climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. The perception that biofuel could solve these challenges simultaneously has led to the implementation of policy and regulatory mechanisms on the mandatory use of biofuels, resulting in a sharp increase in biofuel production and consumption. 4. A Study of Critical Variables in the Anxiety of Schizophrenics by means of a Structured Clinical Interview and a Percept-genetic Experiment
Abstract : Presented to 42 schizophrenic patients and 19 normals, by means of a percept-genetic technique, two motifs of mother and infant in close interaction (feeding and nursing) . The motifs were tagged, by subliminal presentation, with aggressive resp. "healing" sentences, in a balanced design. No effects of this tagging were discernible. READ MORE
