1. Drying of Multicomponent Liquid Films
Abstract : The convective drying of thin layers of multicomponentliquid mixtures into an inert gas, and the influence ofdifferent process controlling mechanisms on drying selectivityis studied. Drying experiments under gas-phase-controlledconditions are performed by low intensity evaporation, fromfree liquid surfaces, of ternary mixtures without non-volatilesolutes. READ MORE

2. Ultrafast opto-optical control of extreme ultraviolet light pulses
Abstract : Extreme ultraviolet (XUV) light is a valuable frequency range for ultrafast optics experiments. The short wavelength is a requirement for ultrashort pulses, which are widely used to characterize fast dynamics. Additionally, the high photon energy enables quantum control of high frequency transitions in atoms. READ MORE

3. Micro- and Millimeter Wave CMOS Beamforming Receivers
Abstract : The available bandwidth in wireless communication systems, such as the 802.11 family, is very limited. Together with the ever increasing data traffic, this causes problems. New possibilities are, however, available thanks to wide license-free bandwidth allocated at higher frequencies. READ MORE

4. Microwave CMOS Beamforming Transmitters
Abstract : The increase of the consumer electronics market the last couple of decades has been one of the main drivers of IC process technology development. The majority of the ICs are used in digital applications, and for these CMOS is the choice of technology. The urge to squeeze more transistors on to a given area has led to shrinking feature sizes. 5. Attosecond Optical and Electronic Wave Packets
Abstract : When a low-frequency laser pulse is focused to a high intensity in a gas, the electric field of the laser may become comparable to, or even exceed, the electric field between the electrons and the nucleus in the atom. Under such conditions, through a process known as high-order harmonic generation, bursts of extreme ultraviolet radiation may be emitted, with durations in the attosecond domain (1 as = 10^{-18} s), which is the time-scale of electronic processes.
