1. Atmosphere-ocean Interactions in Swell Dominated Wave Fields
Abstract : Ocean wind waves represent the atmosphere-ocean boundary, playing a central role in the air-sea exchanging processes. Heat, mass and momentum are transferred across this boundary, with waves mediating the exchange of principally the momentum between the winds and the ocean surface. During the generation process waves are called wind sea. READ MORE

2. Geotechnical Aspects of Buildings on Expansive Soils in Kibaha, Tanzania : Preliminary Study
Abstract : The focus of this study is on potential problems resulting from construction on expansive soils in Kibaha region, Tanzania. For the fact that most of the affected structures are founded on expansive soils, a clear understanding of the soil behaviour and their interaction with structures, specifically as they relate to shallow foundations, has been of more interest to the study in order to evaluate properly the source of the problem. 3. Geotechnical Aspects of Buildings on Expansive Soils in Kibaha, Tanzania
Abstract : The focus of this study is on potential damages to buildings resulting from expansive soils in Tanzania, particularly clay soils in Kibaha. For the fact that most of the affected structures are founded on expansive soils, a clear understanding of the behaviour of soils and their interaction with structures has been of interest to the study in order to evaluate properly the source of the problem. 4. Influence of Pulp and Wood Properties on the Unreacted Residuals in Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Abstract : In this work, the influence of pulp and wood properties on the amount and properties of unreacted residuals in carboxymethyl cellulose was evaluated. The results show that the presence of undissolved residuals in the CMC was not due to any chemical difference between these residuals and the reacted fibres. READ MORE

5. Water-swelling tablets based on hydrophobically modified poly(acrylic acid) - Effects of amphiphiles on swelling and drug release
Abstract : An important issue within the pharmaceutical world today is the increasing number of poorly soluble drugs. These often show a low bioavailability and a susceptibility to varying conditions in the intestine. READ MORE
