1. Programmed or Not : A study about programming teachers’ beliefs and intentions in relation to curriculum
Abstract : In the intersection of technology, curriculum and intentions, a specific issue of interest is found in the gap between teachers’ intentions and implementations of curriculum. Instead of approaching curriculum and technology as something fait accompli, teachers are considered crucial in the re-discovery of what and how to teach. READ MORE

2. Programmed Cell Death in Xylem Development
Abstract : Concerns about climate changes and scarcity of fossil fuels are rising. Hence wood is becoming an attractive source of renewable energy and raw material and these new dimensions have prompted increasing interest in wood formation in trees, in both the scientific community and wider public. 3. Seeing the parts, understanding the whole : A technology education perspective on teaching and learning in processes of analysing and designing programmed technological solutions
Abstract : Analysing and designing Programmed Technological Solutions (PTS) has been introduced as a part of technology education in an effort to bring elements of programming into the curriculum for compulsory school, in order to develop pupils’ understanding of how PTS work and are controlled by programming. However, what an appropriate understanding entails at this level remains to be articulated, particularly how this understanding looks from a pupil’s perspective. READ MORE

4. Temperature programmed studies of molecular assemblies on gold
Abstract : This thesis investigates the properties of ultra-thin layers of organic molecules deposited at or adsorbed onto thin films of gold. The two main experimental techniques used in this thesis work are Temperature Programmed Desorption-Infrared Reflection Absorption Spectroscopy (TPD-IRAS), an excellent technique to probe the structure and orientation of molecular layers on metallic substrates, and Temperature Programmed Desorption-Mass Spectroscopy (TPD-MS), a very useful tool to study the energetics of molecular layers and adsorbates on solid surfaces. 5. Biotic and abiotic stress in microorganisms and plants: Some Mechanisms of Stress and Programmed Cell Death. Genetic Engineering Approaches Towards Improved Stress Tolerance
Abstract : Various forms of stress, such as biotic and abiotic stress, were studied in microorganisms and plants to learn more about the underlying mechanisms of such stress and potential genetic engineering strategies towards stress tolerance. An antifreeze protein from winter flounder, expressed in E. READ MORE
