12. Isomeric yield ratio measurements with JYFLTRAP : In quest of the angular momentum of the primary fragments
Abstract : In this thesis, isomeric yield ratios of twenty nuclides produced in the fission of natU and 232Th by protons at 25-MeV and natU by high-energy neutrons were studied. The experiments were performed at the IGISOL-JYFLTRAP facility at the University of Jyväskylä. READ MORE

14. Isotope Ratio and Trace Element Measurements Using Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry : Method Development and Applications in Environmental Forensics
Abstract : Environmental Forensics is a scientific methodology developed for identifying sources, the timing of release, and transport pathways for potentially hazardous environmental contaminants. It combines a variety of analytical methods with principles derived from disciplines such as chemistry, geology, geochemistry, hydrogeology, and statistics, with the purpose to provide objective scientific and legal conclusions on the source and/or time of a contaminant release. 15. Epidemiological aspects of musculoskeletal pain in the upper body. Analyzing common and recurrent binary outcomes
Abstract : The overall aim of this thesis is to gain epidemiological knowledge about musculoskeletal pain in the upper body in light physical work, in relation to gender, psychosocial factors, and computer use; and to compare different methods for analyzing common and recurrent binary outcomes. Two study groups were investigated using questionnaire data: (a) computer users in the Swedish workforce and (b) a cohort of university students. READ MORE
