    Abstract : The aim of this thesis was to investigate if naturally produced hydroxylated polybrominated diphenyl ethers (OH-PBDEs) are causing negative health effects for Baltic Sea wildlife.     Abstract : Ecologically important macroalgae with large thalli and complex structures are threatened worldwide due to anthropogenic activities such as pollution.
