2. Steam condensation in a water pool and its effect on thermal stratification and mixing
Abstract : The Pressure Suppression Pool (PSP) of a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) is a large heat sink designed to limit the containment pressure by condensing steam released from the primary coolant system. The development of thermal stratification is a safety concern since it leads to higher containment pressures than in completely mixed conditions, and can affect the performance of systems such as the emergency core cooling and containment spray, which the use PSP as a source of water. 3. On the performance of stratified ventilation
Abstract : People nowadays spend most of their time indoors, for example in their homes, cars, in trains, at work, etc. In Sweden, the energy demand in the built environment is a growing issue. READ MORE

4. On the Foundations of Practical Language-Based Security
Abstract : Language-based information flow control (IFC) promises to provide programming languages and tools that make it easy for developers to write secure code. Traditionally, research in this field aims to build a variant on a programming language or system that lets developers write code that gives them strong guarantees beyond the potential memory- and type-safety guarantees of modern languages. 5. Application of Numerical Aerothermal Models on Jet Engine Combustors
Abstract : The use of numerical simulations with combustion for predicting the flow field in a gas turbine combustor or afterburner may reduce the required time in the development process. To investigate the performance of numerical simulation codes some different combustor geometries was studied. READ MORE
