Essays on the economics of agricultural income risk

Abstract: This thesis is inspired by the current debate concerning the Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union. European agricultural policy has been subject to a number of reforms and there is an ongoing debate both at the political and academic arena over what measures that are needed.
