  1. 1. 3D property rights : an analysis of key factors based on international experience

    Author : Jenny Paulsson; Hans Mattsson; Jaap Zevenbergen; KTH; []
    Keywords : SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; 3D property; property rights; condominium; apartment ownership; flat ownership; strata title; stratum; LAW JURISPRUDENCE; RÄTTSVETENSKAP JURIDIK;

    Abstract : The objectives of this thesis are to establish the fundamental principles in the field of 3D property rights by studying such systems in different countries with a particular focus on management questions, to systemize the acquired knowledge and demonstrate different ways of dealing with key factors essential to a well-functioning 3D property rights system. A theoretical background to the 3D property concept is given by presenting proposals as to a definition of 3D property and a classification of the primary forms of 3D property rights examined into specific types and categories, as well as an overview of international 3D property use. 2. 2. Digital Image Analysis of Cells : Applications in 2D, 3D and Time

    Author : Amalka Pinidiyaarachchi; Carolina Wählby; Ewert Bengtsson; Arvid Lundervold; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Digital image analysis; microscopy; fluorescent staining; watershed segmentation; sub-cellular localization; point-like signals; wavelets; cell confluence; cytology; color spaces.; Image analysis; Bildanalys;

    Abstract : Light microscopes are essential research tools in biology and medicine. Cell and tissue staining methods have improved immensely over the years and microscopes are now equipped with digital image acquisition capabilities. The image data produced require development of specialized analysis methods. READ MORE

  3. 3. Contributions to 3D Image Analysis using Discrete Methods and Fuzzy Techniques : With Focus on Images from Cryo-Electron Tomography

    Author : Magnus Gedda; Ewert Bengtsson; Stina Svensson; Carolina Wählby; Punam Saha; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; digital image analysis; 3D; fuzzy; algorithms; grey-weighted distance; region growing; electron tomography; tracing; fluorescence microscopy; Datoriserad bildanalys; Computerized Image Analysis;

    Abstract : With the emergence of new imaging techniques, researchers are always eager to push the boundaries by examining objects either smaller or further away than what was previously possible. The development of image analysis techniques has greatly helped to introduce objectivity and coherence in measurements and decision making. READ MORE

  4. 4. The concept concept in mathematics education : A concept analysis

    Author : Lotta Wedman; Högskolan Dalarna; []
    Keywords : SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; concept; mathematical concepts; concept analysis; co nceptual analysis; mathematics education; concept image; conception; schema; Education and Learning; Utbildning och lärande;

    Abstract : The notion concept is used in different ways within the field of mathematics education. The aim of this study is to carry out a concept analysis of the notion concept, within some frequently used frameworks describing conceptual understanding. READ MORE

  5. 5. The Integration of 3D Geodata and BIM Data in 3D City Models and 3D Cadastre

    Author : Jing Sun; Kent Eriksson; Anders Östman; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; NATURVETENSKAP; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; NATURAL SCIENCES; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; 3D geodata; BIM; city models; 3D cadastre; geometric quality; CityGML; LADM; laser scanning; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik; Geodesi; Geodesy;

    Abstract : The initial geographic information system (GIS) and building information modelling (BIM) are designed and developed independently in order to serve different purposes and use. Within the prolific increase and growing maturity of three-dimensional (3D) technology, both 3D geodata and BIM data can specify semantic data and model 3D buildings that are prominent for the 3D city models and 3D cadastre.
